I learned this business from the inside.
For most of my career I ran restaurants inside the best support system in the business. Chick-fil-A sent me into seven of their hardest restaurants, the ones that were struggling, and asked me to turn them around. I brought every one of them back to profit.
That is where I learned the thing Restaurant Freedom Academy is built on: almost every problem a restaurant has is a problem someone has already solved. You just have to know who to ask, and most owners have no one.
Then I ran my own.
For thirteen years I ran my own franchise. I took the lowest-performing restaurant in the country and built it to $10 million in sales. I earned the Symbol of Success, their highest honor, six times, in record time. Chick-fil-A had me coach their new owners, because I had seen nearly every situation a restaurant can throw at you and found a way through it.
None of that happened because I worked more hours than everyone else. It happened because I built systems, I developed leaders, and I stopped trying to hold the whole thing up with my own two hands. The restaurant got stronger the more I stepped back.
