The Restaurant Owner's Club
Make more money running your restaurant, with owners who already have.
The private club for independent restaurant owners, led by one who is still running his own. Bring your hardest challenges, the calls that cost you time and money, and get real answers from owners who have been there. Ask anything.

The room you were never handed
I had no idea a room of other owners would matter this much.
When I ran a Chick-fil-A, I was in a private group with more than 2,000 other franchise owners. It let me see around the corner. I would log away an idea I did not need yet, and a year later that exact scenario would land in my restaurant, and I was already prepared for it.
It was also where I learned that a room full of owners makes every one of us better. Some were brilliant at systems, some at building processes, some at the execution of it all. You take a little from each of them, and you get better at the whole thing than you ever would on your own.
And it was where I got encouragement on the hard days. This business makes you feel like whatever you are going through, only you are going through it. That is never true. There is a whole room of us going through it right alongside you, and that togetherness carries you.
Then I opened my own independent restaurant and had none of it. Same guests, same payroll, same rent, and no one to call. A franchise is hundreds of owners all running the same business, so a network of people who get it is just there. Independent restaurant owners are the only people in this business expected to figure it out alone. So I am building that room for them.
See around the corner
Ready before it hits
Owners at every stage and experience level are in the room, so whatever you are facing, someone has seen it before. Take what they learned and skip the trial and error, and the expensive month figuring it out yourself.
Different strengths, one room
Get better at all of it
Some owners are great at systems, some at process, some at execution. Being around all of them, and taking a little from each, makes you stronger than you would ever get alone.
You're not alone
People pulling for you
A room of owners who get it, cheering each other on and trading what actually works. You leave more encouraged and better equipped than you came in.
What doing it alone costs
The hours were never the hard part. The mistakes are, and they are not cheap.
Alone, you pay full price for every lesson. A lease you overpaid for. A dish you are quietly losing money on. A manager you promoted before they were ready. Each one costs you thousands, and you often do not see it until the damage is done. In a room of owners helping each other, whatever your stage, those mistakes get caught early.
The costliest mistake
The most expensive thing an owner can do is try to figure it all out alone.
On your own, every problem is yours to solve from scratch, and you pay full price for the answer, in dollars and in stress. It has nothing to do with how good you are. Whether you are fighting to open or already running a strong restaurant, the owners who keep getting better are the ones who stopped going it alone. A room to ask, experts to call, and answers in hand before a problem gets expensive. That is what independent restaurant owners are never handed, and it is exactly what The Restaurant Owner's Club is.
What changes
What changes when you stop doing it alone.
Imagine dropping a problem into the room and hearing back from owners who have wrestled with the same thing. That is the shift this creates, and once you have it, going back to figuring everything out alone feels unthinkable.
The money side
Talk it through
Food cost, labor, pricing, the parts that quietly eat your margin. Bring the scenario and think it through with owners and experts who have dealt with the same thing.
Growing the business
Fuller tables
Marketing, guest experience, the moves that bring more people in and lift the check. Ideas from real owners and experts doing it right now, not a chatbot.
The hard calls
You're not stuck
The hire, the timing, the decision you keep circling. Talk it out with people who have made the same call, instead of sitting on it alone.
What it is
The Restaurant Owner's Club is a room of independent restaurant owners, and I am in it with you.
A private, professional group of independent restaurant owners, with me hosting, teaching, and answering inside it. Here is what you get the day you join.
A private room of independent restaurant owners
Owners at every stage and experience, all trading what actually works. Post a scenario you are chewing on, and hear from people who have been through it. This is the built-in network every franchise owner has, and independent restaurant owners never get.
Live sessions with me, twice a month
Two live sessions a month, and every one includes live Q&A. I bring teaching and guest experts in alongside it, but you can always show up with a question and get a straight answer. Recorded, so a busy month never means you miss out.
Expert guests I bring into the room
The people I would call myself, brought in to take your questions on the things that move your money: hiring, food cost, marketing, leadership. The expert access a franchise owner gets, and independent restaurant owners never do.
A growing library of replays and shared resources
Every live session recorded and saved, plus the resources and tools the owners in the group share with each other. It grows as we go, so the answers are there when you reach for them.
Founding-member status
You get in at the founding price and help shape the Club from the inside. The first 25 members set the tone for everyone who comes after.
Two ways forward
Doing it alone is the most expensive way to run a restaurant.
- Every problem is new, and you pay full price to learn it. Usually in cash.
- You make the big decisions alone, with no one who has been there to run them by.
- When you are stuck, the only thing to ask is a chatbot that has never run a shift or made payroll.
- A hard stretch hits, and there is no one with answers.
- Owners who have faced it hand you the answer before a mistake costs you thousands.
- Work through your hardest calls with owners who have already made them.
- The owner who took a restaurant from last in the country to $10M in sales, answering you.
- Grow your sales and protect your margin, with a room pulling for you, not against you.
This is not theory
I do not just talk about this. I live it every day in my own restaurant.
This is Sidewalk, the independent restaurant my wife Azadeh and I own, and the people we built it with and for. I am in it every day, running my own restaurant, and everything I bring to The Restaurant Owner's Club comes straight from that.

Is this you?
Who the Club is for, and who it isn't.
This is for you if
- You are opening or running an independent restaurant and you are tired of guessing alone.
- You want a room of owners who get it, and an expert you can actually reach.
- You would rather learn from someone who has done it than from a chatbot.
- You want in early, at the lowest price this will ever be.
This isn't for you if
- You want a magic fix with no work and no showing up.
- You would rather figure it all out the hard way.
- You are not really in the business, or planning to be.
- You would rather stick with a free Facebook group where nobody really shows up.

Who you're learning from
I spent 25 years inside the best support system in this business. Now I am building it for independent restaurant owners.
I am Jason. I have spent 25 years in restaurants, and Chick-fil-A sent me into seven of their hardest situations to turn around. I brought every one back to profit. Then I ran my own Chick-fil-A franchise for thirteen years and took it from the lowest-performing restaurant in the country to $10 million in sales, and earned the Symbol of Success, their highest honor, six times, in record time. They recruited me to coach their new franchise owners, because I had seen nearly every problem a restaurant can throw at you, and found a solution for every one.
Today my wife Azadeh and I own Sidewalk Coffee and Bagel, our own independent restaurant. Coming to this side, I saw how little support an independent restaurant owner gets compared to what a top franchise handed me, and I knew something had to change for the people over here, the ones on this side with me. Everything I learned on both sides is what I bring into the room with you.
No one builds a great restaurant alone. The sooner you stop trying to, the better it gets.

Founding membership
The best money you will spend on your restaurant this year.
This is the founding price, the lowest The Restaurant Owner's Club will ever be. Get in now, while the first 25 seats are open.
One bad hire costs you more than a year in the Club. So does one slow stretch you never sort out. This exists to help you avoid them, and it pays for itself the first time it does.
We are filling the founding 25 right now. After that the price climbs, $10 for every 25 members who join, on its way to $99. Lock in the founding rate now and it stays yours for as long as you are a member.
Questions
The ones I get most.
Is this just a Facebook group?
No. A Facebook group is a feed you scroll. This is a private room of independent restaurant owners at every stage, with me in it hosting live sessions and Q&A, answering you directly, and bringing in expert guests. You are in a room with people worth learning from, and a founder who has actually run restaurants.
I haven't opened yet. Is it too early?
No. This is one of the best times to be in the room. Owners who have already opened save you from the mistakes that cost the most, and they are cheapest to avoid before you open.
I'm already open and drowning. Will it help?
Yes. Bring the thing that has you stuck into the room, and hear from owners who have faced it and from me. For a lot of owners, having people to think it through with is exactly what has been missing.
Does it work for my kind of restaurant?
Yes. A coffee shop and a steakhouse run on the same fundamentals: people, standards, and how the restaurant runs when you are not there. That is what we work on.
How is this different from the Restaurant Owner Operating System?
The Club is the room, the live sessions, and the expert guests, month to month. ROOS is the full step-by-step system you build your restaurant on. They work together: when you own ROOS, your Club membership is included free for life.
What if I don't have time?
Every session is recorded, so you never pay for something you could not attend. Come live when you can, drop your question anytime, and watch the replays when it suits you.
Is $49 a lot for this?
My one-on-one rate is $900 an hour, and outside coaching runs into the thousands a month. In the Club you get me, expert guests, and a room of owners, for $49 a month.
What if it isn't for me?
You can cancel anytime.
A note before you decide
You are not alone in this business. You never were.
It can feel like you're carrying it all alone. That is the lie this business tells you when you are stressed and burning out. The truth is there is a whole room of owners in the same fight, and the moment you are in it with them, the weight gets lighter.
At Chick-fil-A, a room like that was the greatest asset I had. It is where I saw around the corner, learned from owners who had faced things I had not, and helped others with what I already knew. It is also where I found the push to keep going on the hard days. But that room was only owners talking. Nobody was leading it.
That is the whole reason I built The Restaurant Owner's Club, and why it is more than what I had. I am in this one, leading it, teaching, bringing in experts, running the sessions, and shaping it around what restaurant owners actually need. It is the room I had, made better, and handed to the independent restaurant owners who were never given one. If you are in, I am in. Come join us.
